The 2015 North Carolina Study Abroad Reentry Conference

Conference Map and Directions

Parking:  Parking is free! Please park in the McIver Street parking deck. As you exit the parking deck, you will see signs directing you to the Sullivan Science Building.

Lunch: We will offer you a ticket redeemable for a meal at our school’s dining hall, or we encourage conference attendees to visit the many cafes and restaurants on nearby Tate Street. A light breakfast with coffee will be offered beginning at 8:30am.

About the Conference

The North Carolina Study Abroad Reentry Conference is designed to bring former study abroad students together from across North Carolina to share their experiences. Participants will also be able to share some of the common challenges and benefits that come from studying abroad. Sessions will focus on a range of topics from reverse culture shock, articulating the value of the experience, discovering intercultural skill enhancement, appropriately incorporating the experience into job search, interviews, and resumes, international work and scholarship opportunities, getting into the field of international education, and many others.
